Essential Functions

• Perform and oversee respiratory care services such as oxygen and aerosol therapy, working with physicians and care teams.
• Administer care with quality and adherence to procedures.
• Respond to emergencies with cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
• Follow established policies, including infection control, HIPAA, and attendance.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive environment with peers and patients.
• Continuously seek growth and skill enhancement.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.

• Knowledge of respiratory care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.
• Ability to read, write, and follow protocols.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Less than 1 year.
• Certifications:
• BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the Texas Medical Board.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
