Job summary

Boston Children’s Hospital seeks a Clinical Research Coordinator for its Movement Disorders Program within Neurology and Functional Neurosurgery. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in neuroscience, biology, psychology, public health, or related field.
• At least 1 year of clinical research or healthcare experience.
• Experience with REDCap or Epic and familiarity with IRB processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main contact for families, referring clinicians, and outside centers; coordinate referrals and evaluations.
• Coordinate operating room scheduling, DBS programming visits, and post-operative follow-up.
• Maintain a central database of referred and treated patients; collect surgical outcome and safety data.
• Assist with IRB submissions, amendments, and regulatory documentation.
• Support recruitment, consent, and biospecimen collection for IRB-approved studies.
• Work with Marketing and program teams on outreach and referral development, and prepare reports for program review.
