Job summary

Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children Imaging Department is seeking a Pediatric Radiology Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging and ensure patient safety for pediatric patients. The role emphasizes accurate imaging, radiation safety, and compassionate care in a high-volume setting.

Required: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, Florida radiologic technologist licensure, ARRT certification, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Florida licensure as a Radiologic Technologist and ARRT certification.
• BLS/Healthcare Provider certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging and related procedures to demonstrate anatomy for interpretation.
• Maintains radiation safety principles and accuracy of patient identification.
• Positions patient and equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations for each modality.
• Provides patient instruction and supports orderly workflow in the Imaging Department.
