Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and support pediatric clinic services at Riverton/Southridge Clinic. You will collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to ensure accurate imaging and patient comfort.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure if applicable, and BLS, with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork. Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 may be available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification required.
• State license to practice radiology where applicable.
• BLS certification for healthcare providers.
• May be required to complete the Medical Assistant competency checklist for clinic/InstaCare settings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency.
• Prepare patient and verify identity and orders.
• Perform exams per protocol and assess image quality.
• Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment.
• Complete studies within time limits while ensuring care/quality; assist students and other staff.
• Educate patients, ensure comfort, address concerns.
• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.
• Operate equipment and related information systems to ensure quality images.
• Keep accurate patient and procedure records; document adverse reactions.
• Follow protocols for medical necessity, coding, charges, consents, QC, and equipment reporting.
