Job summary

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic imaging as part of a multidisciplinary team in a pediatric setting. You will deliver safe patient care, document thoroughly, and support the radiology department’s goals.

Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, assisting radiologists with procedures, and ensuring high-quality images while engaging with patients and families.

Qualifications

• ARRT approved radiography program completed.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• No minimum experience required.

Responsibilities

• Operates modality-specific radiology equipment, manages image processing, and updates EMR. Ensures accuracy of billing.
• Provides radiologists with patient history and obtains informed consent.
• Assists radiologists with administration of contrast media and/or radioisotopes.
• Collaborates with physicians, nurses, and staff to ensure patient safety and quality care.
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives and strives for accreditation.
• Demonstrates age-specific competencies and educates patients and families.
• Fulfills mandatory CBTs and annual competencies.
