Responsibilities

• Maintain ARRT/modality competency across clinical and technical tasks
• Prepare patients, verify identity and orders
• Perform imaging exams per protocol and review image quality
• Follow radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe environment
• Assist and educate students and other radiology staff in protocols
• Provide patient education and ensure comfort
• Follow infection control and sterile techniques
• Operate imaging equipment and information systems
• Maintain accurate patient and procedure records
• Adhere to coding, charging, consents, QC and equipment failure reporting
