Job summary

CHOP’s Radiology Department seeks a skilled radiology professional to join our per diem team. Under the Radiology Manager, you will perform intermediate diagnostic procedures, ensuring high-quality images and patient safety for diagnosis and care.

The role includes training staff and maintaining documentation in line with hospital policies. This position requires ARRT certification, CPR within 12 months, a high school diploma and a radiology tech program, and a minimum of three years of relevant

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical Radiology Program required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs intermediate diagnostic procedures for optimal imaging.
• Follow exam standards, patient care and documentation as prescribed.
• Provide optimal imaging and radiation safety for diagnosis.
• Operate imaging equipment and select technical factors.
• Assist with training radiology students and new staff.
• Maintain patient focus and records per policy.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and data security.
• Adhere to ALARA radiation safety guidelines.
• Cover on-call during holidays and other shifts.
• Complete mandated education and ARRT credits.
