Job summary

Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia seeks a Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures and support imaging operations. Under supervision, you will ensure image quality, patient safety, and accurate documentation while upholding HIPAA standards.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and a technical radiologic technology program completed.
• ARRT certification required upon hire; CPR certification required.
• Ability to perform general diagnostic radiologic procedures and patient care with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in general diagnostic radiographic procedures.
• Maintain patient safety and radiation safety following ALARA principles.
• Orient and train radiology students and new staff; maintain records and HIPAA compliance.
• Operate imaging equipment, select technical factors, and ensure proper patient identification.
• Keep Radiology Information System up to date and secure; document exams and dosimetry.
