Job summary

OU Health's Pediatric Radiology department is seeking a Radiographer to perform diagnostic X-ray exams in a day shift setting. Under supervision, you will prepare patients, review histories, position equipment, and ensure safety and quality per established protocols.

You may assist with fluoroscopy, document in EMR/PACS, and participate in post-study quality checks. ARRT certification and BLS are required, with ongoing teaching and collaboration with OU Health teams.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited imaging program per ARRT.
• Completion of JRCERT military program accepted in lieu of other requirements.
• ARRT(RT) certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging on patients as ordered by a care provider in routine or emergent conditions.
• Ensures testing is performed safely and with high quality standards.
• Assists with basic fluoroscopic procedures when required.
• Prepares patients for procedures and reviews clinical history to align with tests.
• Documents results in EMR/PACS and transfers images for physician reporting.
• Maintains equipment, performs QC checks and adheres to regulatory guidelines.
