Job summary

UPMC Department of Pediatrics is seeking a full-time Outpatient (OP) Nurse Coordinator for the Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine team at Children's Hospital, Pittsburgh. Hours are 8:00 am–4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with clinic operations, patient education, triage, and coordination of care for Sever Asthma Clinic.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current licensure in the applicable state.
• BSN preferred for this outpatient care role.
• Experience in pediatrics and clinic-based care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support clinic operations and patient care for Sever Asthma Clinic.
• Assist with phone triage, refills, faxes, patient lab testing/results and portal messages.
• Submit authorizations and coordinate with providers and care team.
