Job summary

Cincinnati Children's is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for the inpatient Pulmonary program. The role involves rotating through all inpatient pulmonary units including Base TCC, Liberty TCC, and A7C, with APP team support.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in related field is required.
• Pediatric Acute Care certification preferred but acceptable: Family or Pediatric Primary Care certification; PA certification.
• Multi-state licensure may be required (Ohio licensure).

Responsibilities

• Perform histories and physical exams for patients in area of expertise.
• Develop and monitor individualized care plans.
• Order and interpret labs and diagnostic tests as needed.
• Provide professional practice that aligns with regulations and hospital policy.
• Educate families on home care, ventilators, and equipment as appropriate.
