Namy Physical Therapy in Port St. Lucie, FL is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team.

Under the supervision of a licensed PT, you will implement treatment plans, help improve mobility, and relieve pain, with a strong focus on pediatric populations in diverse settings. You will collaborate with therapists, staff, families, and caregivers in school, daycare, and home health environments to ensure consistent, compassionate care and progress toward rehabilitation

Qualifications

• License: Must hold an active, valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in the state of Florida.
• Experience: Previous pediatric physical therapy experience is a strong plus.
• Skills: Excellent communication, patience, and a genuine passion for helping patients rehabilitate.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
• Assist pediatric patients in therapy activities across school, PPEC, and home health settings.
• Monitor and document patient progress, updating the supervising PT on changes in status.
• Collaborate with staff, caregivers, and families to ensure consistent care across settings.
