Job Summary
Homeside Rehab is seeking compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to join our growing pediatric home care team.
Provide one-on-one therapy services to children in the comfort of their homes under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Carry out treatment interventions in accordance with the Physical Therapist’s established plan of care.
- Help children improve strength, balance, coordination, mobility, and functional independence.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate progress, concerns, or changes in condition to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Reinforce parent and caregiver education on prescribed home exercise programs and treatment strategies.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic documentation.
- Collaborate with the supervising Physical Therapist, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team to support patient care.
- Communicate effectively with office staff regarding scheduling, documentation, and patient updates.
Qualifications
- Active Florida Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in pediatrics, home health, outpatient care, or skilled nursing preferred.
- Pediatric experience strongly preferred.
- Strong treatment skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule and provide care within the supervising Physical Therapist’s plan of care.
- Basic computer skills for electronic medical documentation.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
Job Details
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Part-Time, or Per Diem
- Pay: $65–$80 per hour, based on experience
