MetroEHS Pediatric Therapy is expanding our exceptional team of therapy professionals! We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our growing multi-disciplinary team and help us Reveal the Super in Every Child!

In Dearborn Heights, you will work alongside licensed PTs in a collaborative, clinic-based setting, providing hands-on sessions and family education to support developmental milestones in children.

Qualifications

• Completion of a two-year Physical Therapy Assistant associate degree program.
• Physical Therapy Assistant licensure from the state of Michigan.

Responsibilities

• Support children in reaching developmental milestones and improving mobility through hands-on therapy sessions.
• Collaborate closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's needs.
• Facilitate therapeutic exercises and play-based activities that enhance coordination, balance, and overall physical function.
• Promote family involvement by educating caregivers on at-home therapeutic techniques and progress strategies.
• Track and communicate patient progress, contributing to the refinement of treatment plans and goals.
• Adapt equipment and toys to maximize child engagement and independence during therapy.
• Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organized therapy space to support effective treatment sessions.
