Job summary

MedCare Pediatric in the United States is seeking a Home Health Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide one-on-one therapy in children’s homes, daycares, and schools. You will work under a licensed PT and contribute to plans of care with a focus on mobility, independence, and family education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.
• Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant license, or eligible to obtain licensure by the anticipated start date.
• One year of experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist in accordance with physician-approved plans of care.
• Implement treatment plans to improve strength, balance, mobility, coordination, range of motion, endurance, gait, and functional independence.
• Educate and train families and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, positioning, mobility techniques, and home programs.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high‑quality patient care.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.

Pay: $35.00–$40.00 per hour
