Job summary

Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Physical Therapist to join our rehab team. You will provide direct patient care in pediatric NICU and acute care settings, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop evidence-based plans of care.

One year of pediatric experience is preferred; this is a full-time, 34-hour-per-week benefited position with shifts including Mon & Fri 8:00am-6:30pm, Wed 8:00am-4:30pm and Thu 8:00am-1:00PM.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program.
• Current Physical Therapy license in the state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to use computer software for documentation and patient records.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patient's functional abilities and establishes a plan of care.
• Implements treatment plans with safe, effective, evidence-based care.
• Documents patient progress and outcomes according to guidelines.
• Communicates with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate care.
• Participates in discharge planning and care transitions.
