Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join our clinician-led pediatric team in California. The role focuses on school-based and pediatric settings with mentorship, ongoing professional development, and collaboration across disciplines.

You will deliver direct therapy, participate in evaluations, and support students through individualized goals and IEP/district processes. Flexible yet structured schedules are offered with strong work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Hold (or are eligible for) a valid California Physical Therapy license.
• Strong clinical, interpersonal and documentation skills.
• Clear communication and collaboration with caregivers and professionals.
• Fingerprint background clearance, TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct physical therapy services and consultation for children in school or pediatric settings.
• Conduct evaluations using standardized assessments, observations, and interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with SMART goals.
• Collaborate with educators, families and team members to support student outcomes.
• Participate in equipment/assistive technology evaluation and trainings.
• Contribute to IEP and medical team meetings as an active member.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, mentorship and Special Interest Groups (SIGs).
