Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one home-based PT for children in the DFW area. The role emphasizes family-centered care, collaboration with the care team, and flexible PRN scheduling to match patient needs.

You will travel to patients’ homes, assess development and mobility, and develop individualized plans to support progress and functional goals. Join a compassionate team dedicated to pediatric outcomes.

Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
Pediatric physical therapy experience preferred.
Experience in home health, outpatient pediatrics, or other pediatric therapy settings preferred.

Responsibilities

Evaluate children’s mobility, balance, strength, and developmental needs.
Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child’s functional abilities and goals.
Provide age-appropriate, engaging therapeutic interventions.
Help children improve mobility, balance, coordination, strength, motor skills, and independence.
Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate and support parents/caregivers regarding plans, home exercises, and mobility strategies.
Document progress accurately and communicate with the clinical team.
Collaborate with physicians and care team for coordinated, patient-centered care.
Provide compassionate, family-centered care in the home setting.
