Job summary

BrightStar Care is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) to provide one-on-one home health services across the DFW area. You will assess and treat children in their homes, collaborating with families and the healthcare team to reach developmental goals.

Ideal candidates have TX PT licensure and pediatric therapy experience, with strong communication and the ability to travel to patient homes. This PRN role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Texas Physical Therapy license required.
• Preference for pediatric physical therapy experience.
• Experience in home health or pediatric settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care.
• Reliable transportation and travel to patients' homes.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate children's mobility, strength, balance, and developmental needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on goals.
• Provide age-appropriate, developmentally suitable therapies.
• Help improve mobility, motor skills, and functional independence.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Educate families on home exercises, positioning, and mobility strategies.
• Document progress accurately and communicate with the care team.
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and other providers.
• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care in the home setting.
