Job summary

BrightStar Care seeks a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide one-on-one PT services in patients' homes across the DFW area. You will support developmental progress and mobility with family-centered care, traveling to pediatric patients in their homes with a flexible PRN schedule.

Qualifications

• Pediatric physical therapy experience preferred.
• License to practice physical therapy in Texas is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with a flexible schedule.
• Reliable transportation to travel to patients' homes.
• Experience in home health or pediatric therapy settings preferred.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate children’s mobility, strength, coordination, balance, and developmental needs.
• Create individualized treatment plans based on each child’s abilities and goals.
• Provide age-appropriate and engaging pediatric therapy interventions.
• Help children improve mobility, balance, coordination, strength, and functional independence.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to support ongoing development.
• Educate families on plans, home exercises, positioning, and mobility strategies.
• Document progress and communicate with clinical staff and other providers.
• Collaborate with physicians and caregivers for coordinated care.
• Deliver compassionate, family-centered care in the home setting.
