Job summary

Thom Child & Family Services in Worcester, MA is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the Early Intervention team. The clinician will provide home and community-based services to infants and toddlers 0–3 and partner with families to tailor individualized plans.

Minimum licensure as a Physical Therapist in Massachusetts is required. This part-time, hourly opportunity offers competitive pay and benefits, with a focus on family-centered, culturally competent care.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts Physical Therapist license is required.
• One year of early intervention experience or work with infants/toddlers and families preferred.
• Knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
• Ability to build meaningful, therapeutic relationships with children and families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Bilingualism or bicultural background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary team assessments of the child’s development.
• Provide direct services and activities for 0–3 children and families.
• Help develop IFSP goals, objectives, and strategies for the child’s development.
• Complete progress notes, reports, assessments, and correspondence as needed.
• Deliver individual and group interventions for infants and toddlers with developmental delays.
• Assess family and child strengths, concerns, and progress.
• Act as service coordinator scheduling, implementing, and monitoring the intervention plan.
