Job summary

Eyas Landing - Avondale is seeking a Physical Therapist Department Lead / Supervisor to provide therapy to children and oversee a team. You will advance mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence.

You will collaborate with OT and SLP, document progress, mentor therapists, and contribute to a supportive, innovative clinic environment that serves ASD, ADHD, sensory processing disorders in ages 6-14.

Qualifications

• Required credentials to practice physical therapy.
• Experience working with children and/or clients with special needs preferred.
• Competencies: bold contributor, holding others accountable, dealing with ambiguity, and developing employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized therapy and therapeutic rotations.
• Implement DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, and Motor Skills Acquisition approaches.
• Collaborate daily with occupational and speech therapists, and social workers.
• Document progress and communicate with families to support continuity of care.
• Mentor, provide clinical guidance, and give feedback to Physical Therapists for consistency and growth.
