Job summary
Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to support the child/adolescent units on a 13-week temporary assignment with 12-hour night shifts. The RN coordinates patient care with the interdisciplinary team and oversees Mental Health Technicians to ensure patient safety and needs are met.
Qualifications include Florida RN license, 2+ years in psychiatric nursing, BLS/CPR, and a willingness to work nights with weekends rotating.
Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing (Associate's Degree) required.
- BSN preferred.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida required.
- Minimum of two (2) years' related experience required. Psychiatric nursing experience is preferred.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification required.
- Assignment: Child/Adolescent Unit
- Pay Rate: $50/hr.
- Hours: Night Shift: 7 PM - 7:30 AM (Rotating Weekends Required)

- Facilitating Therapeutic Groups
- Conducting Searches and Securing Contraband
- Assisting with Daily Living Skills
- Patient Behavior and Milieu Management
- Documentation in the Patient Record
