Job summary

Legacy Treatment Services is seeking a part-time registered nurse to work with youth in Shafia, Monmouth County, NJ. Responsibilities include assessment upon admission, medication administration, documentation in MAR and coordination with residential staff for youth care.

The role requires a NJ RN license and at least three years of nursing or psychiatric nursing experience. The position offers flexible weekday hours, potential weekend shifts, and benefits like NJ Earned Sick Time and holiday

Qualifications

Minimum of three years' nursing experience or psychiatric nursing experience.
Current Registered Nurse license in New Jersey required.
Experience with children/adolescents.

Responsibilities

Assessment of youth upon admission and as needed
Administration of medication
Document in Electronic MAR
Nurse group education with youths
Communicate with residential staff and report information for care of youth
Document health issues in electronic record
Arrange medical appointments for the youth
Engage with youth during shift
Attend Team meetings/Nursing meetings as scheduled
Review and audit charts for compliance with Office of Licensing
Communicate on Daily Electronic Report for each shift
Communicate with Psychiatrist as needed
Train staff for in-services as related to care of youth's needs
Other assigned duties, assignments and responsibilities as required under scope of professional license
