Job summary

Laurel Oaks Behavioral Health Center in Dothan, Alabama seeks Registered Nurses to join the day shift team caring for pediatric and adolescent psychiatry patients. You will work in a 118-bed acute hospital and residential program, delivering compassionate nursing care.

Responsibilities include documentation, medication administration, leading groups, admissions and discharges, and using restraint techniques when necessary to maintain a safe therapeutic environment; a sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Graduate from an accredited RN School of Nursing (diploma or ADN).
• Current status as a Registered Nurse in the State of Alabama.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to psychiatric patients (children and adolescents).
• Documentation, medication administration, and leading nursing groups.
• Admissions and discharges; using restraint techniques when necessary.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
