Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Emeryville is looking for a Registered Nurse to provide pediatric care across Petaluma, Sonoma, and Santa Rosa. The role offers competitive pay and benefits with flexible PT/FT scheduling.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering nursing care, administering medications, and coordinating education and discharge planning. Requires active RN license, BLS, and background checks. Training and licensing are provided.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for pediatric clients.
• Initiates the plan of care and revises as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Responds to changes in patient status and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates education, care, and discharge planning.
