Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in (insert location) is hiring a Registered Nurse to work with Pediatric and/or Adult patients in their own homes. The RN will provide in‑home nursing care, using the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes in home settings.

The ideal candidate holds a current RN license for the practicing state, current BLS, and health certifications; one year of RN experience is preferred. Flexible PT/FT schedules and weekly pay are offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the practicing state.
• Current Health Certificate as required by contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X‑ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home settings.
• Initiates plan of care and requests revisions as patient status changes.
• Applies therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and monitors effectiveness; documents results.
