Job summary

Maxim Healthcare seeks a Registered Nurse to provide in-home nursing care to Pediatric and/or Adult patients in the United States. The role offers flexible scheduling (PT/FT) and competitive weekly pay.

The incumbent will administer medications, implement and adjust plans of care, and collaborate with physicians to ensure quality patient outcomes. Requirements include an active RN license in the practicing state, a health certificate, a current PPD or Chest X-Ray, and a current BLS card.

Qualifications

Current RN license for the state of practice.
Current Health Certificate.
Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
Current BLS certification.
One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in clients' homes.
Initiates the plan of care as directed and revises as patient status changes.
Implements therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
Intervenes for changes in patient condition and communicates with physician or supervisor.
Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
Reviews care plans and coordinates teaching and discharge planning as applicable.
