Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA, is seeking a Polysomnographic Technician to perform comprehensive sleep testing and analysis under supervision. Qualifications

• Boarded by the BRPT.
• Associate degree with emphasis in polysomnography.
• Polysomnographic program of at least one year from a state licensed and/or nationally accredited facility (CAAHEP preferred).
• A-STEP accredited program leading to a polysomnography certificate.
• Minimum six months work experience as a Polysomnographic Trainee.
• Minimum one year polysomnographic technology experience (preferred).
• CPR required.

Responsibilities

• Documented proficiency in core competencies.
• Arrival preparation and electrode/sensor application.
• Capnography maintenance, cleaning and safety precautions.
• Monitoring pulse oximetry.
• PAP titration.
• Polysomnographic montages and equipment calibration and function.
• Supplemental low flow oxygen titration.
