Job summary

Banner Staffing Services-AZ is hiring for RN PICU registry/per diem roles in Mesa, AZ. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate pediatric care in a 17-bed PICU environment, with opportunities to gain pediatric certifications.

The role emphasizes flexible schedules, weekly pay, and pre- and post-offer screenings. Prior NICU/PICU exp is preferred, and candidates may start as internal applicants for regular opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice (or compact).
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in acute care; pediatric/PICU preferred.
• Banner Registry/Travel experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan care with patient/family input.
• Implement and coordinate nursing care per physician orders.
• Communicate patient status to the team and document care.
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust the plan as needed.
• Mentor staff and support quality improvement efforts.
