Job summary

Pediatric Associates in Orlando, FL is seeking a full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our Alafaya location. This is strictly outpatient with no hospital rounding, offering flexible scheduling and a 4-5 day work week with optional Saturday mornings.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Residency in Pediatrics (ACGME or AOA) completed or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Current, unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years of training.
• BLS certification required; PALS as needed for hospital appointment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strictly outpatient pediatric care.
• No hospital rounding.
• Supportive clinical and administrative team environment.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• MDor DOdegree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
