Olympic Medical Center in Washington is seeking a pediatric physician to evaluate, diagnose, and treat children with general medical problems and chronic conditions. The role emphasizes providing consultations and comprehensive pediatric care within a strong medical community.

Candidate should have a medical degree from an accredited school, an active WA license, and ABMS Pediatrics certification or path to it, plus DEA registration and BLS; CME credits are expected.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of pediatric medicine experience preferred.
• Board certified by ABMS in Pediatrics or in the process leading to certification.
• Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Washington state.
• Active DEA registration included.
• Maintains Basic Life Support and required certifications.
• Maintains CME credits as required by Washington State and OMC Medical Staff.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Evaluate, diagnose, treat, provide consultation, and care to pediatric patients presenting with general medical problems and chronic medical conditions.

PAY & SHIFT

FTE: 100%. Work Shift: Days. Pay Range: $108,056.00 - $608,545.60.

EDUCATION

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Maintains appropriate Continuing Medical Education credits as required by Washington State and OMC Medical Staff.

EXPERIENCE

• Two or more years of pediatric medicine experience preferred.

LICENSURE & CREDENTIALS

• Board certified by the applicable ABMS Board or active participant in the examination process leading to certification in Pediatrics and area of sub-specialty (if any).
• Recertifies at appropriate intervals per specialty board requirements.
• Maintains an unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Washington.
• Maintains current DEA registration.
• Maintains appropriate privileges and membership on the OMC Medical Staff, including staying current on required certifications (e.g., Basic Life Support).
