Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state, DC, PR, or U.S. territory.
• Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in outpatient pediatrics.
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS (ACLS/NRP preferred).
• U.S. citizenship and residence in continental U.S.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care including routine check-ups and vaccinations.
• Diagnose conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with nurses, MAs, and specialists for coordinated care.
• Educate families on preventive health, nutrition, and child development.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR and communicate clearly with care teams.
• Engage in quality improvement, care coordination, and community health efforts.

Position Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric care, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, and management of acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct patient assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and specialists to ensure coordinated patient care
• Educate patients and families on preventative health, nutrition, and child development
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EHR
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and care teams
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, care coordination, and community health efforts

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Pediatric residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• Active, unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state, Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, or U.S. territory
• Minimum 2 years of post-residency clinical experience in outpatient pediatric settings
• Current certifications: BLS and PALS (ACLS and NRP preferred)
• U.S. citizenship and current residence in the continental United States
• Certification of education (copy of diploma or transcripts required)
• Current DEA license and eligibility to prescribe medications
• Strong pediatric diagnostic and clinical decision-making skills
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems (RPMS preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Willingness to comply with all federal and state medical practice regulations
• Adaptability to a flexible and dynamic work environment
• Valid driver’s license may be required
