Pediatric Associates in DeLand, Florida is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our practice. The role offers a $30,000 sign-on bonus, NHSC-eligible site status, and a flexible schedule with no weekend or call requirements.

We welcome physicians who have completed an ACGME/AOA pediatric residency and hold or are eligible for Florida licensure; a strong clinical and administrative support team backs you in this community-focused, family-centered practice.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required.
• ACGME/AOA pediatric residency completed.
• Current Florida medical license to practice medicine.
• Unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain in Florida.
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years of training.
• BLS certification is required.
• PALS certification as required for hospital appointments.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pediatric care at Deland, FL.
• Collaborate with the care team to deliver high-quality pediatric services.
• Support NHSC site requirements and maintain credentialing as needed.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required


• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics


• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida


• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida


• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training


• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required


• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required


• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
