Job summary

THERAPY 2000 in Texas seeks a dedicated Pediatric Physical Therapy Assistant to join our mission-driven home-based therapy team. You will work under a Supervising Physical Therapist to deliver compassionate, evidence-based PT to children in Seguin and surrounding areas.

The role requires a valid Texas PT license, 3+ years pediatric PTA experience, reliability, and flexibility to travel between patient visits. We offer PTO, comprehensive insurance, mileage reimbursement, and a 401k plan.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PT treatments under supervising PT goals and plans.
• Develop home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Coordinate care with other providers and disciplines.
• Meet required weekly patient visit minimum.
• Complete chart updates, progress notes, call logs and paperwork on time.
• Coordinate with agency staff to align on expectations and standards.
• Follow agency policies and procedures.
• Comply with laws and regulations for home-health pediatric PT.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy treatments under Supervising Physical Therapist goals and treatment plans.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric physical therapy.
