Qualifications

• Active South Carolina Physical Therapy License required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR-AED) Certification through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations through history review, observation, and objective assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs, learning style, and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions for developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular impairments.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve measurable functional outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including evaluations, treatment notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and participate in regular patient care discussions and goal setting.
• Contribute to departmental success through mentorship, clinical instruction, performance improvement initiatives, and professional development activities.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and ensure a clean, organized treatment environment.
