Job summary

McLeod Health is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist to join its Pediatric Rehabilitation team in Florence, SC. You will evaluate and treat pediatric patients with developmental, neurological and musculoskeletal impairments, guiding therapy to help children gain independence.

Responsibilities include developing personalized plans, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, documenting progress, and mentoring OTAs. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available with a 2-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Licensed OT in South Carolina required.
• Must hold NBCOT certification and BLS/CPR.
• Experience in pediatric rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric OT evaluations using history, observation and measures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Set measurable functional goals and communicate progress with family.
• Provide OT interventions for developmental, neurological, musculoskeletal impairments.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, re-evaluations and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care.
• Supervise OTAs and participate in professional development.
