Job summary

Advocate Christ Medical Center in Illinois seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to provide pediatric in-patient acute therapy. You will evaluate, plan, and implement care, monitor progress, and coordinate with physicians and the care team.

The role requires documentation, discharge planning, and family education, with a focus on safety and quality standards. The position is part time with weekends and holidays scheduling, SPTO, and LOAs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the applicable state.
• Ability to operate required therapy modalities and equipment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Interprets referrals and conducts musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, cardiopulmonary, and/or integumentary evaluations.
• Develops and implements a plan of care with periodic outcomes review and physician communication.
• Plans discharge with home programs, family teaching, and referrals as appropriate.
• Completes required documentation per policy with signatures and billing details.
• Maintains equipment, safety standards, and participates in quality initiatives.
