Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited school.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state where you work.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 90 days.
• Previous pediatric outpatient experience.

Responsibilities

• Interprets physician referrals and performs musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiopulmonary evaluations.
• Establishes a care plan and implements treatment with measurable goals; monitors outcomes.
• Plans discharge and provides home exercise programs and patient family teaching.
• Documents care per policy; completes statistics, billing, and scheduling; ensures productivity.
• Operates modalities and maintains infection control; ensures patient safety and equipment use.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and assists with department coverage.
• May supervise PT assistants and rehab staff; supports staff orientation and training.
