Nemours Children's Health in Deptford, NJ is seeking a full-time outpatient Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat pediatric patients. The role includes patient and family education, documentation, and collaboration with medical staff to ensure care aligns with state licensure and policy.

Requirements include a CAPTE-accredited Doctorate in Physical Therapy, NJ license or provisional license, and BLS within 6 months. New grads may be considered; DE licensure is encouraged.

Qualifications

• DPT from CAPTE-accredited program is required; DPT is considered entry-level.
• New graduates may be considered based on educational experiences.
• State licensure: NJ Physical Therapist license or provisional/temporary license on hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy evaluations, interventions and patient/family education.
• Maintain documentation and communicate with medical staff and outside agencies per policy.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient care planning.
• Coordinate with families and other services for equipment, home/school modifications.
