Job summary

NAPA Center in Waltham, MA seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to work with infants, children, and adolescents to develop, restore, or enhance motor skills. You will create tailored interventions, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain thorough documentation of evaluations and progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Applied Science or Physical Therapy degree from an accredited university.
• At least 2 years post-graduate physical therapy experience, preferably pediatric.
• DOJ and FBI background clearance.
• TB test clearance.
• CPR and First Aid certificates.
• Current registration with the appropriate licensing board.
• Ability to communicate confidently with clients and other medical professionals.
• Professional empathy and rapport with clients and families.
• Maintain professional boundaries with clients and families.
• Timely documentation and reporting as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat motor, functional, and sensory impairments in the pediatric population.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on client goals and conditions.
• Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises, gait training, and stretching.
• Maintain documentation, evaluations, and progress notes in the EHR.
• Train patients and caregivers in assistive technology and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary teams for client-centered care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and clinical practice improvement.
• Adhere to legal, ethical, and licensure standards.
• Foster a safe and supportive environment for clients and families.
