HSHS Medical Group seeks a Physical Therapist to join our pediatric inpatient and outpatient therapy team at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, IL. The role focuses on patient-centered care, staff education, and collaboration within interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate will manage therapy services with a commitment to professional growth. A 40-hour week, daytime hours, flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts, and a $25,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program meeting licensure requirements in the state of practice.
• IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist or authorized to practice by IDFPR with licensure within 6 months.
• WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist or temporary licensure with licensure within 6 months.
• Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Delegate and direct all discipline-specific therapy services.
• Serve as educator for patients, families, students, and staff.
• Contribute to development of therapy program services and to interdisciplinary teams.
