Job summary

Mercy St. Louis is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to deliver specialized therapy services to pediatric patients. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment programs under supervision, while guiding rehabilitation staff and ensuring compliance with Mercy Service Standards.

The role requires a PT license in the state, BLS certification, and typically 6 months to 1 year of pediatric rehab experience. A team-focused, patient-centered approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or higher required.
• Current Physical Therapy licensure in the state of practice.
• BLS certification current before independent patient care.
• 6 months to 1 year pediatric rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive, individualized therapy programs.
• Direct supervision of patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
