Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver pediatric therapy services under Therapy Leadership, performing objective assessments and creating individualized treatment programs for patients. This role supports Mercy’s mission and requires current licensure and BLS certification.

Responsibilities include supervising rehabilitation technicians and PT assistants, adhering to state practice acts, and partnering with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes within Mercy’s standards.

Qualifications

• Current/Temporary license to practice Physical Therapy in the state.
• BLS certification required and current before independent patient care.
• Education as specified: Bachelor/Master/Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• Six months to one year pediatric rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
• Follow Mercy policies, mission, values and Mercy Service Standards.
