Job summary

Phoenix Children’s Hospital is seeking a licensed Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide evaluation, treatment and plan of care for neonates through young adults in a pediatric setting.

Applicants must hold an Arizona PT license, BLS, AZ DPS clearance, and APTA pediatric specialty certification; experience in pediatric ortho/neuro/NDT is preferred, with ability to collaborate across care teams.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a physical therapy program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Pediatric experience is required or preferred for this role.
• Specialized pediatric training in orthopedics, neurology, neuromuscular, NDT, taping or related pediatric areas.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats pediatric patients with diverse diagnoses using age-appropriate methods.
• Plans care with measurable goals and family involvement.
• Mentors assistants and coordinates with physicians and other clinicians.
