Qualifications

• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in Maryland.
• CPR certification required.
• Previous physical therapy/rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and re-evaluate patients using appropriate examination techniques and outcome measures.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care.
• Delegate plan components to PTAs and supervise related interventions.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians, aides, trainees, and students.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and rehabilitation team and physicians.
• Educate caregivers on home and community programming.
• Complete timely documentation per APTA guidelines and policies.
• Participate in meetings and performance improvement initiatives.
• Assist with department equipment and supplies.
• Pursue ongoing professional growth and development.
