Job summary
Therapy 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist/PTA to join a mission-driven team delivering home-based pediatric therapies in Northwest Dallas/Love Field. A sign-on bonus is offered for qualified candidates.
In this role you will perform evaluations, develop and implement therapy plans, craft home exercise programs with caregivers, and collaborate with a broad care team to coordinate services across settings.
Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Physical Therapist.
- Experience in a home-health setting.
- Specialty Certifications (example: PCS).
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive Physical Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
- Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
- Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
- Collaborate with and coordinate care between providers and disciplines.
- Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required.
- Maintain chart updates, progress summaries, call logs and paperwork on time.
- Meet with agency personnel to align expectations and standards for high-quality care.
- Adhere to agency policies, procedures, and laws related to home-health pediatric therapy.
