The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh is seeking a Physical Therapist to help infants through young adults reach maximum functional potential. You will participate in interdisciplinary programs, collaborate with team members, and support families throughout therapy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/DPT with PA license required.
• One year of pediatric population experience expected.
• Excellent interpersonal, coaching, organization, verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must be able to move children and equipment weighing 10–50 pounds.
• Pediatric CPR/First Aid required.
• Act 33/34 Clearances; FBI Clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients' functional abilities and identifies impairments.
• Identifies measurable functional goals and develops a treatment plan with patient/family.
• Implements treatment plan and adjusts goals as needed.
• Uses objective data to assess frequency and duration of care.
• Prepares and plans for discharge when indicated.
• Assesses need for assistive technology for patient & family.
