Job summary

The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh is seeking a Physical Therapist to deliver Early Intervention services in home settings across Pittsburgh. You will work with families under the Home-Based Coaching Model to meet IFSP goals for young children.

Travel is required while maintaining confidentiality and documenting progress. A PA license (PT) with pediatric experience and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with PA license or higher (PA license required).
• One year pediatric experience preferred.
• Valid PA driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to move and handle children/equipment (10–50 lbs).
• CPR/First Aid certification; Act 33/34 and FBI clearances.

Responsibilities

• Provide early intervention physical therapy in home settings.
• Collaborate with families using Home-Based Coaching Model to meet IFSP goals.
• Complete documentation for caseload management (notes, billing, travel, attendance).
• Coordinate with families and professionals for a cohesive therapy plan.
• Schedule evaluations to establish IFSP guidelines and maximize productivity.
• Stay updated on current pediatric therapy practices and tools.
