Job summary

Building Futures Pediatric Therapy is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to improve gross motor skills and functional independence for children from birth through 18 years old across three Louisiana clinics.

Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, creating and adjusting plans with families, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team, and ensuring proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Louisiana Physical Therapy License (or eligibility for licensure).
• Pediatric experience preferred but not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive pediatric physical therapy evaluations.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers to support progress at home.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
• Maintain a positive, family‑focused therapeutic environment.
• Follow all clinic policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
